The news story ‘EMPIR project contributes to European Metrology Network for Quantum Technologies’ has been published on the EURAMET website at
Project coordinator Stefan Kueck from PTB said ‘The SIQUST project significantly accelerates the development of single-photon sources for their use in quantum metrology. The soon to start EMPIR project SEQUME (Single- and entangled photon sources for quantum metrology) will further progress in this direction. Single-photon sources will become important devices for the future development of quantum technology, the EMN-Q will be essential to establish measurement services and standards based on these sources’.
The meeting is expected to be an online-meeting via Microsoft Teams.
The meeting starts Wednesday, August 26th, 9:00 CEST. It is planned to be closed on Thursday, August 27th, 13:30 CEST.
The 3rd meeting of the joint research project SIQUST consortium was held at NPL, UK on November 27th-28th, 2019.
Meeting minutes and presentations are available in the (restricted) Member Area of the website.
Next progress meeting will take place end od August / beginning of September.
The SIQUST project activities will be presented at the Single Photon Workshop 2019, October 21-25, 2019, Milano, Italy.
The registration for Single Photon Workshop 2019 is now open. Please visit the workshop website to start your registration. Early bird registration will end on September 15, 2019.
